Exam fever is coming. I believe that everybody now are bz thinking on how to arrange ur study timetable for final, how to score, etc. Exam is just around the corner. Thus, nothing else to say other than Good Luck and All the Best to all of u! =)

Believe in what we have as our capabilities are more than everything. The laziness is always there inside our heart. No offence! =) However, we have to handle it wisely. We are the most lucky person since we are here in MMU with all the lovely persons surrounding us. It is such a pleasure to have 3 times final exam in a year! hehe

On behalf of the whole management team of UPG, sincerely from our heart, I would like to wish u all the best for the coming final exam. May all our dreams come true. May God grant us success and happiness always. The best thing to do is to never give up! For Muslims, Solat Hajat may help us in order to make ourselves closer to Allah, so that we feel more comfortable to study and face the final exam. Wassalam

Those familiar with Faci Team (a group facilitator) may ask what's the different between those two? Here's brief ideas of this program; objective to be achieved, input as planned & output to contribute.

Objective of this program

1) to promote basic helping skills in managing life of self & others

2) as an agent to Counseling Unit in promoting counseling as a way to manage life well

3)in helping self to help others

Input

1) Selection of participants through interview & inventory tests

2) Training program

3) Follow-up group

4) Graduation

Output:

1) a better way to help others, especially your peers.

2) counseling is a method to overcome issues in life

3) role model to others.

Im thinking of writing in Malay. However since UPG is a multiracial club, then i decided to write in English.

Do u guys aware that we are going to celebrate our 52nd Merdeka Day on this coming Sunday? Maybe u are not right? its ok. I understand since we are all now very bz with the midterm exam fever. hehe. However, I just want 2 remind that please do not forget to pray for the best of Malaysia development and enjoinment since we are all well understood that it was not easy for the old-timers to get Malaysia independence.

Thus, in expressing our love towards Malaysia, we are going to make something! what is it? UPG Melaka is going to make our own Home-made banners as an appreciation to merdeka day. So, you are all invited to come and express your creativity on the banners. U may also drop your signatures and wishes on the banners as ur support towards Malaysia.

In regards to the coming of Ramadhan Month, University Peer Group (UPG) MMU Melaka is glad to announce that we are organizing an event callled KEM PENGHAYATAN RAMADHAN for all the MMU Muslim students.

Ramadhan is a month of blessing. Lets bring ourselves to strengthen our IMAN as Muslims and gain something beneficial for ourselves by joining this programme. We are looking forward to see those people who are interested to motivate themselves and to be motivated through this Kem Penghayatan Ramadhan and finally be a perfect motivator in the social & religious aspect.

This is the time that you may experience something unique and difference in your life.
Be a good Muslim, be a good Ummah of Muhammad! =)

Date : 4-5 September 2009 (Friday & Saturday)
Venue : Kem Bina Insan Rabiatul Adawiyah, Durian Tunggal Melaka
Fee : RM25/person (after being subsidized of 50% by STAD)
Ingredients of the camp : Iftar, Talks, Sharing moments, Muzakarah, Tilawah Quran, Outdoor activities, Facilitators, and lots more!!

Pls take note and do not waste the precious chance. =) In completing the Organizational Structure of UPG (Melaka Campus) for the term 2009/2010, we are going to held interview sessions for those who really interested to be the Executive Committee of UPG (Exco). The details of the interview sessions are as follows;

Day : Tuesday & Wednesday
Time: 900am-1200pm(Morning session)
&
200pm - 500pm (evening session)
Venue : Sri Ruby
